Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the XP Shorts mobile app and website ("XP Shorts", "we", "us") collect, why, and the choices you have. By using XP Shorts you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account identifier. When you first open the app we create an anonymous guest account with a random ID. You don't need to give us your name to watch.
• Email address (optional). If you choose to add an email so you can keep your coins and unlocks on a new device, we store it and use it to send you a sign-in code.
• Purchases and coins. We keep a record of your coin balance, coin purchases and the series you have unlocked. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see or store your card details.
• Technical information. Like most apps, our servers receive basic technical data such as your IP address, device type, operating system and app version when you stream video or make requests. We use it to deliver video and keep the service secure.

How we use it

• To run your account, stream episodes and remember what you have unlocked.
• To process and verify in-app purchases and credit your coins.
• To send sign-in codes and important service messages to your email, if you added one.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and piracy, and to fix bugs.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run XP Shorts, under their own privacy terms:

• Supabase for accounts, database and video storage.
• RevenueCat for managing in-app purchases.
• Apple App Store and Google Play for payments.
• Cloudflare for hosting this website.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and XP Shorts.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Purchase records may be kept longer where the law requires it (for example, for tax and accounting).

Your choices and rights

• You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data by emailing privacy@xpshorts.com from the email on your account, or by including your account ID shown in the app's Account screen.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California or Australia), you may have additional rights under local law. We will honour them.
• Deleting the app does not delete your account. Ask us if you want it deleted.

Children

XP Shorts is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and private storage for paid video. No service can be perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, they use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by email. The date at the top shows the latest version.
